Well, it will be the fence, anyway. Darcy decided it would be cheaper to build his own fence instead of getting pre-fabbed panels. And our new neighbours agreed to pay for half of it! We hope to get it up soon so that we can spray-stain it and then get some turf in. The sooner that happens the sooner the kids can play on it!
John was back doing tile today. 
He worked on the backsplash in the kitchen for most of the day.
The tiles won't be such a boring color in the end. Once he grouts them he puts a glaze-type coating on them and then the colors stand out more.
He's also doing the floor in the ensuite and grouting the tile in the girls bathroom today. We heard today that Schluter is "going out" and will no longer be available in a few years. John found an edge piece that would look nice around the edges, but it's $6 a foot! And we would need either 7 or 18 feet of it, depending on where we put it. Yikes!!! Any suggestions?
