Carpet!

The carpet is installed in all the bedrooms! Kaitlyn can sit on her floor now without getting all dusty! And the guest room,

craft room

and master bedroom have carpet, too. I forgot to look in the walk-in-closet but I'm sure it's got carpet, too.

The living room has carpet,

and so does the office, though it's more of a heavy-duty kind of carpet than a plush one. The carpet in the basement will be the same, though it's not there yet.

The railings are nearing completion. We have railings around the top of the stairs now,

They're just working on the hand rails on the angles. What a lot of work!

And the backsplash in the kitchen did get grouted today.

The seal that I'm going to put on is supposed to bring out the colors a bit more, so that it doesn't look quite so boring. That's what they tell me, anyway.

Here's the big pile of lights, just awaiting installation! Then we can see in the dark!
