Paint! But it's really not. It's kind of a primer on that brown "wood" on the headers over the doors and windows. When cut, the "wood" gets kind of a fuzzy edge to it, so they sand it and put the primer over it and then it looks more smooth. But soon there will be color!
Speaking of color, this pink goupy stuff is used to fill the never ending holes! It goes on pink and then dries white.
The finishing guy didn't finish up yesterday, but hopefully he'll be done today. The posts look about done to me - maybe one more little piece of wood on the bottom? - 
now we're just waiting for the arch on top.
